About Us
Canberra Brewers brings together a like-minded group of brewers on the quest for brewing better beer and other beverages such as mead & cider. Through education sessions, social events, competitions and monthly meetings, we look to share knowledge and ideas with brewers at all levels – from those starting out with kit and kilo, through to brewers brewing on all-grain three vessel systems.
We meet on the first Thursday of every month, at the White Eagle Polish Club in Turner, 38 David St, Turner ACT 2612, starting around 7:30pm. Meetings usually involve an education session about a beer style or an aspect of brewing, updates from the club committee, a raffle with great brewing prizes, and members socialising and sharing their latest brews. Please bring along your brew for feedback or just to share with the club.
For new members, please come along to the first meeting for free – we want to make sure you are comfortable and keen to be a member of the club. Club Membership is $40 per year, which provides:
- access to the Canberra Brewers forum and wiki
- opportunity to participate in bulk buys of grain, yeast and other brewing equipment
- access to discounts with local retailers
- invitations to brew days with professional brewers
- access to club competitions
