2018 ACT Amateur Brewing Championship

Entries have now closed for the 2018 ACT Amateur Brewing Championship, to be held 8 and 9 Sept at John James.
A very strong 276 entries, from 32 brewers, an increase from last year but not quite a record.
But we are seriously short of the number of volunteers we need to judge and steward in order to actually run the competition well. (A big thanks for the members who have already volunteered.)

Please!! Club members, if you have a morning or an afternoon(or both) one either(or both) Saturday 8 or Sunday 9 Sept(next weekend), help out.

You don’t need to be experienced – stewarding is an easy entry into competitions – and everyone who has done the club supported BJCP course has all the skills needed to judge, paired up with experienced judges.

This is an important event for the club – one of the big ones for the year – and it it’s a great opportunity for members to support their club.

Go to the ‘Call for Judges and Stewards thread’ and put your name down!

The Committee looks forward to your support!
